I'm out in San Diego on business for a week and I'm busy doing research--food of course!
One thing I'm really excited about is the possibility of Cambodian food, something I can't get in NYC. I see that there's a Cambodian pocket on " University Ave. and El Cajon Bl., roughly between the 4000 and 6000 blocks of these streets. " Any specific places I should check out?
Also on my must eat list is the elusive fish taco, well elusive in NYC... El Zarape and the South Beach Bar and Grill.
What else am I missing?
P.S. Any leads on great thrift stores?
