Aquavit's Marcus Samuelsson opened the annual Guest Chef series at Cornell's School of Hotel Management a couple of weeks ago. Future Guest Chefs in the series will be Janos Wilder of Tuscon's Janos, March 11, and Cornell grad/Food TV celeb Ming Tsai of Blue Ginger, Wellesley, Massachusetts, April 29.
I attended Samuelsson's extravaganza and found it to my liking. It was a riff on the tasting menu at Aquavit. Quite an enjoyable evening. He also put up with a Q&A from the 120+ guests after the meal.
