Salvadoran and German

Had two good meals this weekend, unrelated, it's true, but I guess I'm seeking to preserve the postings.

I went back to El Ranchito, a Salvadoran restaurant in Washington Heights, on Broadway between 174th and 175th, and had a terrific lunch there: good pupusas, avocado salad, Salvadoran enchilada (which is different from a Mexican enchilada, in that it's circular and crunchy and has fixin's pailed on top), horchata, and chicken tamales.

I also tried Hallo Berlin for the first time, which I know has been posted about here before. I tried their bratwurst and wienerschnitzel, both of which were superior to others I've tried around town (or in Berlin itself, actually). I went to the one on 10th Avenue just above 44th Street.
