With Sweet Tomatoes closed, it seems like the only places that have actual salad bars are the casino buffets and the Brazilian steakhouses. While they are fine for what they are, there are times when i just want a salad bar. It used to seem like every restaurant had a long salad bar with a thousand options under a sneeze guard -- even Wendy's had salad bars at one time. Where have they all gone? I actually ate at a CiCi's Pizza the other day because their $5.00 pizza buffet includes a salad bar.

I know that I can go to a regular restaurant and order a salad, and there are lots of places that will build a salad for you (like Topp'D or Ingredient or The Mixx), but I'd like to build my own. Does anyone know of a real salad bar in Kansas City?
