Sake Japanese Restaurant in Ridgewood, NJ

Best sushi I have ever had!! OK. I haven't tried many places in the City yet. Eric, my husband is a sushi-aholic, and he says it is better than many Manhattan sushi eateries. Absoluetly fresh. Great variety! Eric was teaching piano near by and had the opportunity to lunch there once a week (the lucky stiff!) O.k. I'll admit, they treat us as guests because my husband teaches music lessons to the owner's daughter. We had our recent wedding anniversary celebration there. It was a night we'll never forget!

Check out their tuna. Yeah. I've never been that crazy about tuna before, but theirs is truly special. I also adored their Japanese oysters. Out of this world! They also have "no-carb roles" which I will try on my next visit.

There are several sushi places in Ridgewood. All others seem to be doing better than Sakae, which is a real mystery. The owners need to advertise, post specials, MARKET themselves. Right now it is undiscovered. Check it out!
