I came across a Delia Smith recipe for cannelloni with asparagus spears. It also calls for a pre-made "asparagus sauce" from Sainsbury's. Since we have none of these stores in Chicago, I will have to make my own. Problem being I haven't got a clue what kind of a sauce it is. Does anyone out there in cyberspace know?
I suppose I could just make a cheesy bechamel or some such thing if necessary???
