"Saigon Pancakes" in Dallas?

john clark | May 15, 2003 10:56 AM

A post on the SF board reminded me of a dish I enjoyed at The Saigon Inn in Northern Virginia when I was a boy: "Saigon Pancakes," which are a crepe filled with pork, shrimp, chicken, bean sprouts etc. The SF post says that these are called banh xeo. I'm so hooked on Mai's on Bryan St. that I can't bear to try another Viet Namese restaurant but I'll bust out of my rut if someone can tell me where to find this dish. Or maybe I'll try to talk them into making it at Mai's.
