Saigon Kitchen - San Jose

Robert Lauriston | Jul 20, 2009 08:29 AM

Had dinner there the other night.

The seven courses of beef was good though they brought almost all the food at once. The porridge was the standout.

The nine courses of fish was a fun variation, all the usual bo 7 mon preparations only with fish, plus some extras. Again, the porridge was the standout. Fried minature egg rolls were dry and the only dish of the 16 that I didn't like.

The other house specialty is whole fried catfish, which is big enough to make a whole dinner for two or more. Lots of people were getting that and it looked great, I'd try that next time.
