Has anyone reverse engineered the recipe for the pickled garlic available at Sahadi's?
The flavor and texture is much better than what's available at other places like The Pickle Guys. They're very addictive, which is bad at $8/lb (when I can buy peeled fresh garlic for ~$1/lb).
One of the workers mentioned that it was imported and wasn't able to give a recipe. So while I maybe not get the same type of garlic in the US, I figure it should be close enough.
