Sage in Newport Thursday Night

torta basilica | Mar 25, 200308:59 AM

Girl's Night out - had a great time & excellent food. Rich was cooking, as usual. Got the gorgonzola salad (he was one of the first to do the apple/nut/cheese thing & still one of the best). Ordered appetizer as an entree - oxtail ravioli - very delicious. Pasta almost a cross between wonton & pasta it was so light & tasty. We were all too busy hoarding our food to share... They were packed, so not as worried about their survival - just wanted to remind all of another good little locals restaurant in Newport. BTW, great lunch menu with really good salad selection & braised short ribs.
