Safety of broth in a thermos

GiddyUpGo | Nov 22, 201807:05 AM     10

My husband and I made a turkey last night, and are making another one today. Last night around 10pm we finished the first turkey. I couldn’t find a container large enough for the broth so without thinking I just poured it into a thermos and stuck it in the fridge. It was still pretty hot when it went in.

This morning at about 6am we took it out to use in making the stuffing. My husband used the turkey baster to take the broth out of the thermos, put two squirts into the stuffing cubes and then commented that the broth was still warm. Of course it was, it was in a thermos. Duh. I felt like maybe it wasn’t safe to use so we poured the rest of it away ... but those two squirts went into the cubes and the stuffing went in the oven. Is it safe to feed this to my family or should we skip the stuffing this year?
