Safe to eat?

Help! I made some roasted eggplant, put it in a tupperware container to cool before putting it in the fridge and then forgot about it and left it on the counter overnight! When I found it, I put it in the fridge right away. So....is it safe to eat? Should I reheat it before eating it? I usually eat it cold. I hate to waste food! TIA for any guidance!
