Roving Chow Fest - Just The Facts

chino wayne | Jun 3, 200212:11 AM

Following is what was sampled by ‘hounds on the Roving Chow Fest.

New York ‘hound Eric Eto gets the Ferdinand Magellan Award for traveling the farthest to participate in this ‘hound activity. Russkar and Karla get the Mr. Blackwell Fashion Award for their yellow color coordination. Louisa Chu and Annie Chu get the ASPCA Award of Merit for bringing the dog so she could sample D’Amore’s pizza dough. Russ (who I believe goes by “wrharper”), former Houston ‘hound – now L.A. ‘hound, gets the Donner Party Memorial Award, with Special Chino Wayne Crossed Forks, for boldly leaving the wife at home, unpacking in the new house, while he hit Dupar’s and Langer’s to connect with fellow ‘hounds and then persevering, despite the recall to the home front due to a plumbing emergency, and then returning to the field, very intelligently *with wife in tow*, to resume operations at Carousel. Johanna gets the John Z. DeLorean Award For Excellency In Design & Engineering for having the coolness to arrive at the Roving Chow Fest in a classic Cadillac Eldorado that she must have hijacked from the current Cadillac CTS commercial (the CTS does not cut it GM.) Colin gets the Doctor Schweitzer I Presume Award, for *finally* getting to D’Amore’s after Mr. Cecil’s, just in time for a couple of COLD slices (he must have detoured via Connecticut, in the misguided assumption that is the only place in American that serves good pizza).
