So I went out for dinner several Fridays ago at a nice seafood restaurant. Food was very good, service was very good. The meal came out to $90.36, so I gave them a $17.64 tip to make it an even $108.
I just got my credit card statement the other day and noticed that the bill said $108.36. I know we're talking nickels and dimes here, but it seems they rounded up the tip to $18 after I already signed for the bill. I found this a little odd -- is this common practice?
