roti anyone?

We were driving from the Van Wyck towards Woodhaven Blvd on Liberty avenue this afternoon around lunchtime so we stopped at Anil's Roti - it was reasonably good and cheap but not anything I would go out of my way for. Liked the bdjee - but it was cold (it must really be good when it first comes out of the oil) nice texture and taste and only wunderla ($1)for a nice size sphere. The lamb curry with bone and potato came with roti with peas (which was really lentil) and again was tasty but none of it was hot enough (which would lead me to worry in the long run about food safety given that everything is sitting in a steam table)

Anyway, anyone have any recommendations for roti - Guyanese/Trini style in that area. We have our mobile kitchen parked on the other side of the Van Wyck off of Liberty and often drive that way these days. I tried to get the guy at the counter to recommend something but he was either too shy or dissinterested (and there was no one around as it was early in the lunch period)

I remember checking out some place that did west indian food and indonesian food a few years ago but cann't remember exactly where. Any suggestions folks?
