ok, it's new in the 'hood so i wanted to give it a shot......even after not liking the Lincoln Center outpost. so i tried it tonight w/a foodie friend and my hubby. we were so incredibly put off by the upsell on the $14 guac that they make with ONE avocado that we barely noticed the stifling heat in the place. waiter mentioned it 3 times! and the pomegranite margarita---same thing. neither, in my opinion, are very special. i don't mind spending $ on great food, but i don't want to be bullied into their "signature" (code for overpriced) dishes. i would love to hear from you guys about this and let me know how you feel. ended up with the chilean seabass which was well seasoned but overcooked. in fairness, the space is fun and well designed, tables are spaced nicely. but give me a break with all the pandering!
