Roots Hummus

Jim Leff | Aug 31, 201602:35 PM

Just want to send some love to this startup that makes by far the best pre-packaged hummus I ever found, vastly better than the usual store-bought.

I know the standard retort is "It's so easy to make your own hummus, why buy?". But I've never, ever, tasted good homemade hummus. Lots of mediocrity out there.

Root's stuff is pretty natural, so there can be a problem with mold. First, they'll refund if you complain. Second, I find that the spicy chipotle version is never moldy (maybe it's the capsicum).

Available in health food-ish stores, but you might be able to persuade your grocer to carry: https://www.rootshummus.com
