Hello. My husband and I will be in Rome for just 3 short days on an upcoming business trip, although we have traveled throughout other parts of Italy. I know we want to have one dinner at Colline Emiliane to eat yummy pasta from Emilia, but we need help for the other two dinners. We want one good traditional restaurant for legitimate Roman food, and our last night we want to do something really special and romantic. We both enjoy a cocktail before dinner, so if the restaurant has a full bar that would be nice but is not a deal breaker. Spots that looked interesting for the traditional Roman meal are Armando al Pantheon, Trattoria Al Moro, La Taverna Dei Fori Imperiali, and possibly Osteria Barberini, although there isn't much said about it. As far as special occasion, price is not an object, but Michelin stars in Italy don't always wow me like they might in France. I prefer a la carte options and a nice setting. So far Antico Arco and All'Oro both look promising but I am curious what I might be overlooking. Antico Arco is a definite cab ride each way and I know All'Oro just recently relocated. Any thoughts or suggestions you can share are greatly appreciated!
