Rome and Florence/Tuscany with Kids, High End

ben12345 | Mar 15, 201909:13 AM     1

I am planning a twelve day trip to Italy with my family, kids aged 7 and 9. I would like recommendations on restaurants that offer high quality food and experience, price is not a concern. The ability to bring our kids along and avoid long tasting menus is critical. The kids are fine eating off a standard menu and are good for about 1.5-2 hour meals, before getting antsy. As a data point we were in Lima recently and really enjoyed Maido, ordering a la carte. Any help would be greatly appreciated as it seems what I am looking for is hard to find in Italy. Essentially Michelin star quality and kid friendly.
