Gastronomie reports that Robuchon is on the verge of launch a new Parisian restaurant called "La Table de Joel Robuchon" (the table of JR), in contrast to his current Parisian restaurant "L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon"
The new restaurant will be in the 16th arr. The contract is to be signed next week between Robuchon and a Greek businessman who owns "Seize au Seize" restaurant on avenue Bugeaud, which Robuchon would presumably take over. That is the former location of the restuarant of the female chef Ghislaine Arabian, who had left before the restaurant's becoming Seize au Seize.
According to Figaro, the style of the new restaurant will be "along a contemporary axis."
Robuchon also plans to replicate L'Atelier in Monaco. The chef will be one of the Robuchon disciples, Christophe Cussac, who is leaving La Réserve a Beaulieu (a two-starred restaurant).
