Road Trip across PA

Bride of the Juggler | Aug 26, 2004 08:29 PM

We just returned from a road trip across Pennsylvania, stopping at little old amusement parks, drive-in movies, small towns, and good food. The highlights were:

Homemade custard at Kenny's Drive-In (2342 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA, Tel: 717-264-8351). Super eggy and rich. We recommend the peanut butter and the fresh peach.

Cheese fries from the Potato Patch and Cheese on a Stick at Kennywood Amusement Park outside Pittsburgh(rec. courtesy of previous post). The cheese on a stick is like a corn dog made with a stick of cheese instead of the dog. That filled me up all day and then some.

Thank you.
