So we were zipping up Milwaukee to the new Abt (which is something else, let me tell you-- recession? what recession? which plasma screen do you like better? which one matches the Aga?)
And off on the right, somewhere in Glenview or thereabouts, as Polish shades into Japanese and Korean, I spotted a mall back behind the more obviously American ones full of Asian-named places. Some had the New World Buffet look of fake Chinese restaurants, but others looked like they could be Asian groceries and other interesting spots. Anyway, the tucked-away ness definitely suggested International Mall's hidden-in-plain-sight approach, as well as a more serious level of coordinated development than the occasional Korean spot in between a Family Pantry and a locksmith you see in strip malls all along the way.
So, before I make a long trek up to these things to investigate on the ground, anybody have knowledge of this hidden wonder? Sorry about the vagueness of the location, but I figure if you know this at all, you know what I'm talking about.
