Lambsy wrote about this place in the "coming soon" thread, but it deserves its own.
This is a cool little family joint in the same center as Los Tios, Honeybaked Ham, Pizaro Pizza, et al. (I'm not mentioning the overly salty Pei Wei).
They have a pretty extensive menu for a burger joint.
For example, last night I ate a dish they call the "TRUE GRIT".
About ten grilled shrimp over a bed of creamy grits and smothered in a tomato and okra stew. While the shrimp were pretty indistinct, the dish worked overall. Rich and creamy. About halfway through the dish I requested some red pepper flakes or hot sauce, (thinking Tobasco or Cajun Chef, maybe), to give it a little zing.
Chef sent out some of their "Insanity Sauce". Habanero, (or ScotchBonnet) based and maybe some chipotle? Pretty hot and did the trick. I dipped the last four or five shrimp in that sauce and livened those little beggars right up, I assure you. (I think I might even seen a leg kick, but the sweat was in my eyes, so I can't be sure...)
Anyway, we've been here about 8 or 10 times now. I've had the dipped sandwiches, (I had lamb), several of cleverly named burgers, and some other things.
