Rincon Chileno

Sandra W. | Jun 8, 2005 12:07 AM

It's always been a place I wanted to try. Made it for lunch today. Had an amazing dish, sort of a Chilean shepherd's pie. Instead of potatoes the top portion was made from corn, not quite a corn souffle, denser, very rich in flavor. It was described as a beef/corn pie on the menu. The ground beef was not very interesting, but there was very little of it. Loads of chicken, olives, raisins. A great meal. Must go back soon

Rincon Chileno
4354 Melrose by the Hollywood Freeway. There's a rincon deli next door.
