I finally found this little hidden gem - true chowhound persistence paid off. It took me three passes even with the address and that's part of the problem. It's a store front just south of Harbor Blvd on the west side of El Camino.
It's hard to call this place a bakery. It's impossible to call it a restaurant. But this woman can cook and can she bake!!!
I ordered lunch of lamb kabob with rice, salad, and a big piece of Syrian bread. The place is so poorly laid out that the owner made it to go and even she was surprised that I wanted to eat there. The meat and rice were as good as any middle eastern place I've tried and the bread was out of this world - fresh as a daisy and still warm from the oven. She also had several other varities with herbs on top. I also took home some excellent falafel.
For all her talent as a baker, Rihab resembles neither a bakery nor a restaurant. It would be a pity to lose a baking talent like her, so I urge chowhounders to go in and support this store front operation before it sinks.
