I'm taking my anglo-saxon 92 year old granny for Chinese this weekend in Richmond. Although she really enjoys such cuisine, she's used to the usual "special combo for 6" menus with items like sweet & sour pork, chicken chow mein, lemon chicken, vegetable chop suey, etc. Nothing too exotic or spicey (unfortunately). I think she's more into the White Spot atmosphere than the 350+ noisey open dining room crowd as well.
Can anybody recommend a suitable, quality place? I'd love to do Kirin or Sun Sui Wah, but have not been before. Low to mid-range (or cupon-friendly) price point preferred.
