Rice cooker not working right

FluffyKiwiFruit08 | Feb 9, 201609:33 AM

I have a Hannex rice cooker. It used to work perfectly, but the past few times I've used it, it seems not to be fully cooking the rice and there is a lot of water leftover in the cooking vessel. I cooked up the regular rice we eat on the stovetop and it came out fine, so it's not the rice itself. I even tried a different kind of rice in the cooker and it still had the same issue. Any idea what might be causing this issue? I've only had it a couple years and it was a pricier unit, so it seems a little soon to be ready for the trash.
