Review of Thai Treasure in JoCo/ KC area

This place is out in Stanley, so it's way South. I had heard good things, so off we went.

We went on Friday around 6:45 PM, and I was surprised to see the dining room with only a few patrons. It's usually the sign of bad things to come, but we decided to tough it out, seeing as how going somewhere in Stanley was out of the question.

The service was quite friendly, and our server made some suggestions for us. I ended up getting the Drunken Noodles (Phad Kee Mao, I believe), and my friend ordered the Red Curry Duck. We had both had large lunches, so no appetizers were in order.

Let me tell you, this is the best Thai restaurant I've been to in the KC Metro so far. My noodles were spiced just right: not too hot, but not bland either. The duck was outstanding as well. Every piece was nice and tender, and the curry was not as sickly sweet as I've come to expect in the KC area restaurants.

The prices were also extremely reasonable. My noodles were around $9, while the duck curry was $13. Since my friend and I were sharing, it made for a very affordable meal.

So, if you are a Thai afficionado, you definitely owe it to yourself to check this place out.
