Review of the burger at Michael Jordan's Steakhouse

ESNY | Sep 28, 200602:06 PM     2

Since my office is around the corner from Michael Jordan's Steakhouse in Grand Central, I decided to stop by yesterday at lunch to try their burger. I was unsure what to expect because I find this steakhouse very hit or miss. One day I have a great steak and the next time its subpar.

For $14.50 with fries, its not the cheapest burger in the world, but I have to say, it was excellent. The burger itself was pretty large, I think it was 12 oz, and very well cooked. It had a nice seasoned crust on it from the broiler, just like their steak, and was still cooked perfectly medium rare. It came on a soft, lightly grilled bun with a decent mound of steak fries. A nice, balanced well seasoned tasty burger. And sitting at the bar in Grand Central was quite peaceful as compared to the usual chaotic feeling of Grand Central. I highly recommend it for anyone in the area.
