I am looking to host a wine dinner at a Boston area restaurant -- ideally, it would be a ~5 course meal with a menu which is somewhat flexible based on the wines that are brought. Ideally, the restaurant would not charge corkage, but there is room to compromise. We are willing to do it on an off-night as well.
We are also willing to go a little outside the city if there is a nice restaurant that would allow it.
Does anyone have experience bringing wines into Boston restaurants? My understanding is that the laws can be strict, but some restaurants allow it.
