In another thread, a couple of posters said they prefer restaurants with no "avoids" on their menus....restaurants with even quality across their menus. Places you can send people to without any instructions or caveats.
The idea's extremely alien to me...I'm all about the strategization, and (as I said in that thread), I personally prefer a restaurant with one life-changingly great dish and everything else tasting like toxic sludge to one that's evenly merely competent across its range. But I'm intrigued by this challenge, and invite submissions.
