Was pleasantly surprised by my lunch at the Ritz Carlton in Georgetown. Small selection, but a decent value. Appetizer choices were wedding soup (my friend had -- she said it was fairly bland but okay) and blue cheese salad (I had-- red leaf and frisee lettuces with blue cheese dressing, candied cumquats and candied pecans). Entree choices were chicken caccatori (sorry about the spelling, neither of us had) or porcini mushroom and parmesean cheese risotto with asparagus tips (very, very nice). Dessert was mango cheesecake (very light, and very good) or creme brulee (ubiquitous).
