No, I'm not generally a fan. Yes, I do get to the odd Restaurant Week meal anyway. Two this season, both lunch, and both well worth the $21: Locke-Ober and Oceanaire. At the latter, I also sprung for the hash browns, which were nicely crisp, but overloaded with butter: fried in butter, plated in a puddle of butter, probably misted with butter, too. Got a nice glass of wine with each meal.
These felt like strong values: a good piece of fish, small but quality surrounding courses, service that felt up to the usual high standards at both.
Any other RW experiences to report? Don't think I saw many follow-ups.
