Restaurant Week: if you only got 1 value/experience?

So the time for restaurant week will soon be upon us here in the DC, beginning the first of August. For newbies to this annual dining extravaganza, it means that selected restaurants will be offering a 3-course fixed-price lunch and dinner, costing $20.05 and $30.05 respectively.

If you could only pick ONE restaurant to attend for lunch, and only ONE for dinner....which ones would you select? Some of these restaurants are outside of my budget on a normal basis, so I'm looking to try an establishment that is normally a lot pricier, but with the restaurant week deal- provides a wonderful experience at a reduced price that otherwise I would not be able to afford. Open to any type of cuisine- however preferably somewhere with 'unusual' food (interpret that statement as you wish).
