Best restaurant in SF for Saturday lunch

HungryHoward | May 14, 200304:32 PM     7

In planning an itinerary for an upcoming trip to Napa, we'll thankfully be escaping the traffic and crowds on Saturday to spend the day in SF.

In searching the board, I didn't locate too many posts on recommended restaurants for Saturday lunch. One thread (below) back in 2000 recommended Rose Pistola and B-44 for such meals.

Are there any places you'd recommend for this occassion? We're open to location and price. Unfortunately, my wife isn't a huge fan of Asian or Mexican food -- so much for Chinatown. Would Zuni Cafe be up for consideration?

Thanks!
