Restaurant for Roast Goose?

anotherjennifer | Dec 18, 201612:17 PM     4

We would like to have roast goose while we're in Paris. We arrive December 24, leave January 1, so I would think it would be prime time.

We don't want to cook it at the apartment we're renting, although if there are no good restaurant choices, take-out from a good food hall etc, to be rewarded at home would be an ok 2nd choice.

Researching here and more broadly on the internet, the only thing I've come up with so far is Bistro des Oies. Reviews overall seem to be pretty good. I just can't figure out if they have what we want. They don't have a website, so I'm dependent on other sites that have posted menus. None of the menus I've found seem to have what we want. I've been looking for the word "oie" on the menu. Should I be looking for something else? OTOH, there's one TA review from a few years ago where someone mentions goose filet, which seems to be the right direction.

So, any thoughts on where to get goose (not foie gras)? Asian would be fine, too, so long as it's more of a roasted goose experience and not a goose version of Peking duck (I don't even know if that's a thing.)
