Six diners, Friday evening, Manhattan.
Diner #1 is not too picky. His companion likes hustle and bustle, and chic decor. The daughter of Diner #1 eats only "healthy" food. Her boyfriend will not travel below 42nd Street, and has a distinct East side bias. The son of Diner #1 eats mainly cheap ethnic food found on the outer borough boards, and is unhappy when food is gutless and Americanized; when eating in Manhattan he prefers French or Northern Italian restaurants but is intrigued by the idea of upscale Mexican. His companion is a militant Vegan.
If someone can suggest a mid-priced restaurant to please all members of the party, I'd be shocked but highly appreciative.
