We all know, take-home and 'bake-it-yourself' meals typically result in a disappointing experience and wishing you had dined out.
However, went to The Galleria in Koreatown and bought marinated, un-cooked beef & pork bulgogi with about 6 sides of panchan like daikon radish, seaweed, etc. Grilled at home and had a Korean BBQ experience that rivaled any I've had eating out in Koreatown...all with your favorite bottle of wine and music.
It had all the satisfaction of a restaurant and required just enough preparation to feel like it wasn't just take out. And now it has me thinking....wow, we should do this more often!
Any other meal suggestions that provide both a Wow! dinner, yet require just a bit preparation of your own?
