Restaurant Kabobii (Palo Alto)

Cyrus J. Farivar | May 24, 2004 04:20 PM

My girlfriend and I had a late mini-lunch yesterday at Restauran-e-Kabobii on Lytton. While the Salad-e-Shirazi (tomatoes and cucumbers in lime/lemon juice) was small and overpriced at $4.50, the koobideh sandwich, which we split was easily enough for two. It was almost like a Persian burrito! Tender meat, with veggies and the sauce that they put on it (tahini?), ah so good. Doogh was also good as well. I thought it was a little weird that they have lavash bread in ziploc bags on the tables.
