Happy holidays everyone ! I was hoping some of the veterans of this board can assist me with a problem. I am trying to remember the name of a restaurant I use to frequent with my father as a youngster. It was a Chinese restaurant with somewhat of a tiki bar Polynesian style theme. The classic fried noodles with duck sauce and spicy mustard on the tables. The waiters wore jackets and bow ties. It was located in the shopping center in Starett City. Exit 14 Pennsylvania Ave off of the belt parkway. The address was between 1380-1386 Pennsylvania Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11239 It was eventually brought by Waldbaums so the supermarket next door can be extended. I think it was opened during the 80's into the early 90's. I absolutely loved this place as a child. A few places it reminded of was Richard Yee's on Ave U and King Yum in Fresh Meadows. Many of the readers on this board often surprise me with their knowledge of Brooklyn circa 1970's and 80's I would love some help, Thanks everyone !
