Just to build on my prior post, I had a few questions about choosing a restaurant and would appreciate any comments and feedback on my itinerary so far:
1) Dinner at either Pierre Gagnaire or Epicure at Le Bristol - Unfortunately, Pierre Gangnaire is closed on Sundays per the website but Epicure is open on Sundays. I really want to go to Pierre Gagnaire but in terms of scheduling, Epicure would be easier since it is open on Sundays. Is Pierre Gagnaire head and shoulders better than Epicure, or is the difference negligble?
2) I am deciding between going to Drouant or Chez L'Ami Jean. I have a reservation for a weeknight dinner at Comptoir du Relais, so in light of this reservation, which restaurant would be the better choice between Drouant or Chez L'Ami Jean? In terms of my preference, I am just trying to avoid having the same style of food, so if Comptoir is similar to Drouant, then I would choose Chez L'Ami Jean. If all three are different and worth going to, then I guess I will have to make a tough choice.
3) Are the lunch menus at Josephine Chez Dumonet and Chez L'Ami Jean the same as the dinner menus?
4) In terms of my itinerary, it is so far as follows: Comptoir (weeknight dinner); Septime (weekday lunch); Les Fines Gueules (Sunday dinner); Huitrerie Regis (weekday lunch); Josephine Chez Dumonet (just a maybe for lunch) and I was hoping to fill it with one place each from my first question and second question. I'm trying to get broad spectrum of french food, so if I should delete some place and other places, I'm open to suggestions.
