Reporting back on dacquoise like cake

I made a sort of dacquoise today and wanted to report that it is wonderful. it is not a 'real" dacquoise because I used pecans instead of hazlenuts, but it looks and tastes great. It is filled with chocolate mascarpone whipped cream . I highly recommend it for an easy cake with high WOW factor and very little sugar.
