Report on Red House / Harvard Square

went against all the recs from other chowhounders and ate at Red House in Harvard Sq. Very overpriced and just OK food - Had the lamb medallions and they were 2 fatty small pieces in a pool of bland mint yogurt sauce, though the crab cakes appetizer was fresh, tasty and cooked properly, if not a little skimpy in the crab department - the riesling wine was decent but cost a small fortune per glass. Service was iffy at best but the atmosphere is very nice if somewhat dark to view the menu in. The assortment of food they serve is also very strange - I can eat almost anything and my options were pretty slim for entrees.
