Report on Cozmos Corner Grill-long

It was fantastic, best meal I've had in about 6 months. My initial expectations were not very high after hearing about the noise and the scene. Yes it is noisy, but the food more than compensates. First off was the bread basket-their foccacia, it just had the perfect ratio of olive oil and salt, it was delicious, that I am ashamed to say I ate 5 pieces (the bus boy could see I loved it!). We then ordered an appetizer pizza, it had peppers and pancetta with a lovely thin crust. For our entrees we had the salmon wrapped in grape leaves with potato and braised greens. There were 3 pieces of salmon and it was delicious there also was an interesting pinky/red sauce with it, I got one tiny taste, because the person who ordered it loved it so much. I had the chili and meyer lemon pasta with chicken and tomatoes in a lemon broth. It was sublime, ,very intriguing you got the heat and the tang. I was short of licking the plate. Then desserts I stayed with the meyer lemon theme and had their tart, I love lemon tarts, this was by far the best one I've had in a long time, much better than the one I had recently at Slanted Door. What I liked so much about this one is it was warm and ozzy, the crust was excellent and the chantilly cream and raspberries were the perfect accompaniment. My companion had the warm Scharffenberger chocolate cookies and milk shake(milkshake better than Cortez). Yum.
We drank lemon drops and a glass of champagne. Everything was exceptional from the service to the food and excellent value. I am planning my next visit!!!
