Reno: ISO Thanksgiving dinner, no buffet, "ambiance" for elderly MIL, late afternoon

c oliver | Oct 24, 2009 04:03 PM

My 89 y.o. MIL has just returned home after a month in a rehab center following a mild stroke. She's in good shape but neither she nor we have the interest or energy to cook the big meal. None of us like buffets so that's totally out. Also she, not being a CH, will take "ambiance" and lighting over food any day. (She loathed Beto's when we took here there.) She does wants the traditional meal. Her preference is to have dinner around 5:00pm. Does anyone have any recs? I'll also be doing other searches but CH is always my go-to. Thanks all.

Edit: Our first choice would not be a casino. If all else fails, perhaps.
