We are considering Reno as a retirement destination and are about to drive up there from Las Vegas. One of our requirements in a new location is a good food scene. Las Vegas has proven itself this trip with a food scene that fires on all pistons. Is Reno up to the Vegas standard in the Chowfolk opinions?

Are there any of the following that really standout to anyone?

Steakhouses
Epic breakfast
Good, real, legit Chinese
Thai (something on par with LOS in Vegas)

Thank you in advance! We hit the road in one hour.
