hi - coming to DC later in the week, and want to go back to a great place i visited in december last.
it is off dupont circle, just a short walk along one of the streets (or avenues). it is what i would call "new american" and/or "eclectic" ... it is a trendy little place, and they serve their own interesting flatbread in the breadbasket, they have a nice wine list, hip but friendly waitstaff, and what i remember to be very nice and interesting food. nice decor, and a long and narrow space. open kitchen i think. i believe the chef is quiet a young guy, if that helps narrow it down, a "jamie oliver" type perhaps.
any ideas? i'll know it if i hear the name.
