Well, anyways just wanted to see if anyone has the lowdown on where the chef is, or has she resurfaced? I think here name is Alicia or Alissa Reynolds. It was in the location that is now Comfort Cafe on Hyperion.
I had the best bbq fried chicken here, nice smokey flavor and then expertly fried too. Very good stuff. And a "tian of crab" that was the best ever as if the boring crab cake had gone for a post-doctoral degree.
Anywasy, I'd also like to know if places are serving bbq fried chicken and tian of crab (the supposedly smokey fried chicken at Stevie's on the Strip is not smokey enough for me, it seems like just good reg. fried chicken).
