Hi dear Chowies,
So I recently had a big trauma, my apartment burned in a fire and I had to move, and I’m in a place where the kitchen just doesn’t feel like home. It’s OK and everything is fine, but I find myself getting a lot of takeout, and I really miss the magic in the alchemy of cooking. I’m trying to motivate myself to sit and make a broccoli soup. I have some nice broccoli and I have everything you could need to put in the soup. I just have no love of cooking, I don’t know where it went. I want it back! I think in the long term I’m gonna need to print some cookbooks, but that feels overwhelming right now.
So I’m wondering, I’m wondering. I’m wondering from this community.
What are your very favorite broccoli soup recipes? I know I can go research but I’d love to hear just what makes you feel excited and delicious vibes, for a broccoli soup. It’s really fun to read people talk about food, and to read people talk about cooking – maybe that will be one step. Towards the fun of actually cooking.
Love to you all chowies, stay safe out there,
