Red Rock Bistro

Had a birthday dinner there this past week and I was truly impressed with the overall experience. As we walked through the door on a snowy night we were greeted by a smiling manager and hostess. The atmosphere in the restaurant was so romantic. The place is situated on a beach overlooking boston in the distant. Now to the most important part...the food. I had the ceasar salad and it's probably one of the best ceasars i've ever had. (secret is the flavorful croutons) For the entree we sampled the scallops which were the size of half dollars and atleast 1/2 and inch thick. We also had the skate wings which were so tender and perfectly cooked. The accompanying apricot sauce did not match with the dish though. (should have used a lemon cream sauce with the dish) As for the desert we had wonderful chocolate rasberry cake. The waitress even added a sparkler on top for my date. Being a college student on a budget this place was worth every penny. We were treated like royalty by the same waitress who was also waiting on a table for a group of "heavy hitters" seated next to us. Overall the night was such a delight. When my parents are in town this will be the first place we'll go to.
